Sending Holiday Cheer

iragIf you happen to be free tomorrow and you and your child have paper and crayons – I have a great project for you. If you need more time – no fear this wonderfully thoughtful gift can be applied to places local to you. Try a local hospital or senior center.

I am speaking about Holiday Mail for Heroes. This is a partnership between The American Red Cross and Pitny Bowes to deliver one million Christmas greetings to our heroes at war for our freedom.

Gather your family after dinner tomorrow night to create a card that will brighten the day of our soldiers. The guidelines are simple. A homemade card with words or colored pictures wishing them safety and thanks. Send them to:
