Random Acts of (Sibling) Kindness Day

Yup, this holiday actually exists and it’s celebrated each and every February 17. OK, we added the “sibling” part but that’s perfectly acceptable. Why not let your kids in on this secret?

Your childrens’ call to duty? Perform a few random acts of kindness. Almost any kind deed will do.

Here are some sibling ideas to get you started:

  • Let  your brother or sister play with one of your favorite toys
  • Let your brother or sister go “first”
  • Draw him or her a picture of the two of you doing something fun
  • Offer a helping hand – get their shoes, put away their coat

Caution: What comes around, goes around. Random Acts of Kindness is highly contagious.
